WELL, HELLO DOLLY
A NICE SHOUT OUT
Tony Frankel of Stageandcinema.com had nice things to say about the our production of “The Normal Heart”... and happened to also say:
“Also successful is Jeff Witzke in the small but mighty role of Hiram, the mayor’s aide.”

Doing animation voiceover work is one of the best jobs in the world... because you don’t have to shave or nothin’! I got the chance to do a couple voices in a 10 minute animated pilot for Fox. I don’t know how much I am allowed to say... so I won’t say much -but the creators are great, the project was fun, and I did my version of a very popular outspoken Fox News host.

I
STOOGING AROUND
I totally forgot to post my fabulous appearance on my favorite internet movie review show - BREAKIN’ IT DOWN with CATHERINE REITMAN! I adore her and think she is hilarious and so when she asked if I would come and play - I JUMPED at the chance. Here is my appearance and her review of ‘The Three Stooges.’

HEY, HEY, HEY - IT’S THE DGA!
I had the honor of working with the President of the Director’s Guild of America - Taylor Hackford (An Officer and a Gentleman, Ray), on some short films celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the DGA. I did the voices of a few of the influential directors that help found and bring respect to the guild. I could not be more proud of how they turned out. Click on the image below to go to the website and watch. In the Part 1 - I voice King Vidor (Duel In The Sun, Wizard of Oz). In Part 2 - I am the voice of Frank Capra (It’s A Wonderful Life, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington). Not only can I say these are amazing films (thanks to Taylor and director Michael Stevens) - but if I stretch it... I can say I’ve worked with Spielberg and Scorsese!!
NO ‘BONES’ ABOUT IT!
The third’s time’sthe charm... well, the fourth really. At long last, I have finally shot an episode of the FOX show BONES. You see... I was cast as FBI Agent #2 in the pilot -but got my lines cut on the set because they were going long and had to be out of the location. Then, in the second season - I was cast as FBI Spokesman, only to have my scene written out the night before. Then I was offered a role in the following episode - but had to pass because it shot the same day as I was shooting JUNO. (I don’t count that as my third time being cast... just crappy timing!) So here in it’s last season -the third I finally got cast and shot a guest star role playing ‘Denny Bennett’ - manager of Telecom, Inc. Telemarketing. ‘Nuff said. Fun time. The episode, “The But In The Joke,” should air in May.
